Tash utilises evidence-based psychotherapies, including Somatic Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), to foster action and understanding towards healing, personal growth, and sustained change. With a focus on the general adult population, as well as specifically tailored services for educators, Tash provides trauma-informed and compassionate services that prioritise emotional, psychological and physical well-being. She is deeply committed to empowering individuals to build self-awareness, resilience, and the practical tools needed to navigate an ever-changing world.

Tash holds full registration as a general psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (PSY0002595880) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

Tash Bryceson Psychology currently offers psychological intervention services to adults via telehealth. At this time, Tash Bryceson Psychology does not provide assessment services.
Tash Bryceson Psychology also offers specific services to educators in the areas of teacher wellbeing, burnout, trauma and mentoring via telehealth. These services are available to educators not currently employed by the NSW government, those currently employed by government education departments outside of NSW, and educators in the independent and Catholic systems.

The Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2024-2025 has the standard 46 to 60-minute consultation fee at $311. Under the Medicare Better Access program, Medicare card holders with a Mental Health Care Plan are entitled to a rebate of part of the fee for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate is $96.65. Private health funds also provide rebates for psychological services. Please enquire with your provider.

Post-incident response sessions are available to educators at shorter notice to minimise psychological injury. Please note that these sessions are subject to availability. This is not an emergency service. Delivery will be negotiated between the individual and Tash Bryceson Psychology.
Online sessions + remote support
Professional and wellbeing mentoring services are tailored to the individual and incorporate a mixed model of individual sessions and remote support over a 10 week period.
Mentoring sessions are not available for the Medicare Better Access rebate.

The Better Access Initiative gives Medicare rebates to eligible people so they can access the mental health services they need. Support is available from eligible general practitioners (GPs) and other medical practitioners, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists. Eligible people can receive up to 10 individual and up to 10 group allied mental health services each year. To access the Better Access Initiative, individuals will require a current Mental Health Care plan from their GP. Tash is required under the Better Access Initiative to provide a written report to the referring practitioner upon completion of treatment, which will include brief information regarding the treatment provided, any relevant assessments completed and recommendation for future management.
Medicare rebates under the Better Access Initiative are available for both individual and group psychological therapy.
A Mental Health Care Treatment Plan is devised with you and your doctor. You will need a longer appointment in order to have enough time to discuss your situation and needs sufficiently. Your doctor will ask you questions and may ask you to complete a questionnaire. It may also take more than one appointment for your doctor to decide if a Mental Health Care Treatment Plan is right for you.

There is no set amount of sessions or time period for seeing Tash. Treatment planning is done together with you and is responsive to your needs. Under a GP Mental Health Care plan, clients will generally be required to access 6 sessions, and up to 10 sessions following a review by your referring GP.
Due to her current employment with the NSW Department of Education, Tash is restricted from working with current employees as this generates a direct conflict of interest.
At this time, all services provided by Tash Bryceson Psychology are delivered remotely via a secure telehealth platform. Individuals will require access to an internet connection and suitable device with a camera.
Appointments cancelled within 48hours of the appointment time do not attract a cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will attract a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee. If you do not attend the session without providing notice a cancellation of 100% of the session fee will be charged. A copy of our cancellation policy will be provided upon acceptance of services.
